New Beginnings

Cheers everyone! I am officially living the London life.

I have currently been in London for exactly ONE week today. Strange feeling. I arrived last Saturday and stayed with the Tragheim family for the week. They were more than hospitable and let me lounge around with them all week! We slept, went and looked at Christmas lights, walked around London, slept, ate, caught up with all the relatives, watched movies, and slept some more. What a perfect way to welcome me into my new life.

A BONUS to this past week was that my family has now decided to come visit me! YAY! After realizing five months was a lot longer than it sounded my mom, Lauren, and Kathy are coming over Spring Break. I surprised Lauren over Skype and got to tell her the news. She cried. i cried. It was a beautiful site.

I am currently lying in bed at my dorm. All of my new ISA friends arrived today. We walked around our dorm area, found the nearest tube station, and grocery stores. Let me tell you I am going to have quite the body after all of the walking I'll be doing. Forget the gym! Later on we went and grabbed some dinner. Interesting place. Not sure if we'll be going back. The food wasn't really anything special. Since most of the girls were tired, having just arrived today, we headed back to our dorms. This gave me plenty of time to unpack. I have now become an expect on tiny spaces. This closet is ridiculous. I think you can hang 6 shirts. Needless to say shelves and folding have become my new bests friends.

I am feeling so blessed and grateful for this new adventure I'm about to embark on. Traveling the world has always been one of my greatest dreams and now it's finally coming true. Thank you Mom, Dad, Fefawn, and Grandma for giving me the chance of a life time. It's sure to be the best five months of my life.

Here's to many more entries to come and can't wait to keep you all updated on my London life!
